Providing Lifelong Opportunities to Learn

Temple B’nai Or provides contemporary Jewish learning for all ages in an inclusive, warm community. We are committed to accommodating the individual needs of our diverse families.

Our clergy, directors and teachers take responsibility for and invest in children’s growth as whole Jewish people from early childhood to early adulthood.  We encourage all our adult members to tap into the wonder and joy of learning by engaging in continuous Jewish education and fellowship.

The Joel and Helen Jacobs Religious School

Zoom Bat Mitzvah 2020In the Joel and Helen Jacobs Religious School, we nurture the development of children into young adults who love and celebrate being Jewish Americans. Students begin in Kindergarten and grow to ORIM as seniors in High School. Our goal is for our students to develop a love of being Jewish in community with other children, their teachers and all our families. We foster acceptance and belongingness in our learning community and delight in the joy and fun of worshiping and celebrating Jewish life together. Experiential learning includes study of Torah, Jewish culture and values, and ancient and modern Israel. Mishpacha T’filah (Family Prayer), held every Sunday for students K-6 and their families, is interactive and infused with music and movement.  GROW WITH US!
