Hello Connections friends,

Welcome to a new year of social, cultural and enrichment events.  Miriam Herbert has joined as a chair along with Nona Seid and Joan Sturm.  We look forward to an exciting year.

A Springtime Walk Through Time, Sunday, May 20, 3:00 PM:  If you were part of our venture into historic downtown Morristown this past October, you know how fascinating it was and how marvelous our guide, Carol Barkin, was!  You DEFINITELY won’t want to miss this delightful adventure, as Carol guides us through the Victorian mansions that are so much a part of New Jersey’s history.

Our tour begins at Macculloch Hall, 45 Macculloch Street, Morristown, where we’ll visit the house and gardens dating to 1810; then we’ll cross Macculloch Street to the home of Macculloch’s neighbor, legendary political cartoonist, Thomas Nast.  We’ll continue our walk through the neighborhood, viewing other homes, a church and an historic graveyard.  We’ll go to dinner at 5:00 PM, at Aikou Restuarant, dinner is pay-your-own.

RSVP to Carol Barkin by May 16 with number of people in your party and whether you are joining us for walk and dinner, just the walk, or just dinner.  Click here to RSVP or for more information.

Let us know your ideas for fun and interesting events during the year.  We are happy to help anyone plan an activity.
