The Frances and Herbert Brody Pre-School of Temple B’nai Or – Playful Learning, Meaningful Growth
Our program offers creative, sensory-rich, and play-based learning designed to nurture curiosity and foster development. We provide age-appropriate programs for children aged 18 months through 5 years, supporting each stage of early childhood with care and intention.
Our Judaic curriculum is brought to life through music, crafts, and storytelling, helping children connect with traditions in joyful, age-appropriate ways. We also offer daily enrichment classes that expand learning through movement, art, and exploration, making every day exciting and meaningful.
At Temple B’nai Or Pre-School, we believe education extends beyond the classroom. We actively encourage family involvement and community connection through shared learning experiences and celebrations.
Social and life skills are woven into our daily routines, helping children develop respect, empathy, and a strong sense of self. Our play-based approach empowers students to explore the world around them while learning essential values such as kindness, responsibility, and giving to others.
Morris School District Public Program
We are proud to have been a trusted partner of the Morris School District for the past six years, offering a high-quality, non-faith-based preschool experience within our nurturing environment.
Our classrooms follow The Creative Curriculum® for Preschool—a comprehensive, research-based approach that supports learning through exploration and discovery. Designed for mixed-age groups, this curriculum fosters independence, confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.
Through hands-on experiences and active engagement with their environment, children develop the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills they need to thrive.
Baby and Me Music Classes (Birth–18 Months)
We’re delighted to offer music classes twice a month for our youngest learners—from birth to 18 months old—led by Annette Steele of Music Time Today.
These joyful sessions give families meaningful ways to connect through music and movement, while supporting each child’s early development. Parents and caregivers will discover fun, practical ways to engage musically with their little ones—building bonds, boosting brain development, and laying the foundation for a lifelong love of music.
Beforecare begins at 7:45 AM; aftercare is available until 5:30 PM.
We offer an exciting 8-week thematic camp experience for children ages 18 months to 8 years. Each week features age-appropriate, hands-on sensory and exploratory activities designed to spark curiosity and creativity.

Temple B’nai Or Pre-School is non-sectarian. Children of all faiths are welcome. We are a NUT FREE/ALLERGY FRIENDLY environment. Diapers do not prevent children from participating in our programs.
