The Jewish people prepare for the enormity of the High Holy Days during the Month of Elul. Temple B’nai Or is offering two very special Adult Education classes.

TICKETS FOR SERVICES

 

Your tickets are good for all High Holy Day services.   Each person MUST present a ticket with their name.  The police will not permit you to enter parking lot without a ticket.

For Members: Pre-registration is NOT necessary.  
Tickets will be sent automatically to all members who are in Good Standing (have made pledge, paid in full or have payment plan in place with the office) and to their children ages 26 and under.  

However, if you did not fulfill your pledge from last year, please contact Barbara Kavadias.

For Non-Members & Guests:  
Tickets are $180 for guests over 18 and for members’ adult children over age 26.  
Tickets are complimentary for all children under 18.
Tickets are good for all services.  
If you join TBO by December, your ticket purchase can be applied to your dues pledge.

Reciprocal Tickets:
If you have family members who belong to another congregation, we will provide them with complimentary tickets when provided a letter from their congregation documenting their good standing.  We will attest to our member’s good standing if you wish to join family elsewhere.  Please contact Barbara Kavadias.

Ticket Delivery:  
Printable PDF and mobile-friendly tickets will be emailed on September 24 and October 1.  Be in Good Standing (make pledge and pay in full or have payment plan in place) by September 15 so that we may issue your tickets promptly.

SHABBAT SHIRA

As Miriam led our people in song and dance, we gather to honor the leadership of women through the narrow straights of our journey. Join us to elevate women’s resilience and empower the woman’s voice in this important moment. Friday, January 26 at 7:00pm in the sanctuary. Register here.

HANUKKAH

Hanukkah Shabbat B’Yachad

We all come together to celebrate Hanukkah and Shabbat on Friday, December 8.  Dinner, edible crafts, community menorah lighting, and a wonderful Shabbat service led by our Ketzev children’s choir and the K-3’s.  A celebration for the entire family!  5:30pm is dinner for Ketzev & K-3. 6:00pm is dinner for everyone else.  Register here

Hanukkiah Lighting on the Morristown Green

Let’s bring our Spiritual Light into the darkness with a communal Candle Lighting on the Morristown Green on Wednesday, December 13 from 5-6pm. We will be joined by the congregation of MJCBY and the local community. Music, treats, and warm festivity.
