In this in-person, three week course, we will examine how Judaism can inform our understanding of artificial intelligence—not only the technology itself, but its transformative impact on our wider world. We will look at what Jewish ethics has to say about responsible use of AI, examine AI’s impact on economic life and what that means for Jewish values related to labor, and delve into how AI can contribute to deeper Jewish study and understanding.

ABOUT JASON:
Jason Albert is Global Chief Privacy Officer at ADP where he leads the company’s worldwide privacy compliance program and helps drive its AI governance efforts.  Jason has more than a quarter century of legal and policy work in both the U.S. and Europe, with a focus on technology issues.

Jason chairs ADP’s AI and Data Ethics Council and helped develop its AI Ethics Statement.  He also co-leads ADP’s generative AI governance process and its initiative to implement new AI laws, including the EU AI Act.

Jason holds a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School and a bachelor’s degree in geosciences from Princeton University.
