Guests, Jewish and not, are most welcome! All Shabbat services are open to the public.
Our innovative schedule of services offers a variety of worship modes and prayer experiences throughout the month. We understand that everyone comes to worship with differing prayer needs, often based on age, aesthetics, or type of spiritual sensitivity. This schedule has allowed more of our congregants to become part of the worship community at Temple B’nai Or.
TBO Shabbat services are held both in person and via Zoom. Pre-registration for in-person Shabbat Services is strongly encouraged. Pre-register here. Friday evening Shabbat services begin at 7:00 pm and at 6:00pm during the summer. Services are always followed by an Oneg or in the summer a communal dinner. Everyone is encouraged to stay, enjoy each others company, and socialize.
Renewal for the body, mind, and soul on the second Shabbat of every month. Contact Sherri Schachter to find out about the next hike.
Families with young children, 0-7 are invited to celebrate Shabbat B’Yachad, together. Singing, dancing, crafts, dinner, story time; it’s a fantastic experience for young families who want to meet others and bring in the Sabbath as a family. For information contact Esther.
