Volunteers are essential to the day to day operations of Temple B’nai Or, as well as for creating a roadmap for our future. Volunteering is the gateway to lifelong friendships, enriching cultural experiences and creating deeper connections between Jewish traditions and your life.
There are many opportunities to engage at Temple – joining one of the committees or a taskforce, learn to lead a minyan, work alongside friends of many faiths to address hunger in Morris County, sing in our choir, or even play softball for team TBO!
Please spend some time on this page and consider where your interests, skills, time and passions could benefit TBO and enrich your life. Reach out to the people leading volunteer efforts that interest you directly or contact our Executive Director at 973.539.4539 for more information.
Member engagement is the lifeblood of the Sacred Community. TBO has a multitude of important work that greatly impacts the well-being and future of our community. If you are unsure of where your skills or interests are best applied, contact the Executive Director, the clergy or any member of the Board of Trustees to learn more about standing committees, task forces or Clubs and their essential efforts.
